Lily Allen allegedly can't stand being single and has pled friends to get her a new boyfriend.
doesn't like being single. She seems desperate to have a new boyfriend after being single for months since she broke up with 45-year-old Jay Jopling in January 2009. "Lily hates being single. She needs a man in her life," said a source close to the singer.
It was said Lily is reluctant to attend showbiz parties without a man to accompany her and has begged friends to find her a new man. "She feels insecure going to events and hates turning up without a man. She wants someone to hold her hand for all the red carpet events she attends," the singer's pal informed, before adding "She's even been asking friends to set her up on dates. She can't seem to meet anyone, and it's making her miserable."
The insider claimed Lily is a fragile figure, saying "Lily's vulnerable after her relationships failed." The source further explained, "She is especially concerned about going on her tour without a boyfriend there for her backstage. She needs a man to take care of her, and to give her attention. Without that, she fears she'll go off the rails."
