Sean Penn seems having a very tight schedule that he has to drop out of two upcoming movies. A spokeswoman for the actor has confirmed that he will not join both "The Three Stooges" and "Cartel". The rep explained Penn would remain involved in the movies if the start dates on the productions were to be postponed.
Sean's rep did not describe the reason, but another news informed that the drop-out is caused by personal reason. A source close to the actor reported he wants to take a break from his job and work on his marriage with Robin Wright Penn.
Sean has told Universal and Imagine, production houses of "Cartel", that he will not able to join the drama movie directed by Asger Leth and the studios have since been trying to find another actor to fill his role. The two-time Academy-Award winner will also not be in the cast of "The Three Stooges", a comedy by MGM, in which he was supposed to star as Larry.
