Selena Gomez says she will leave her career in TV as she expects to come into movie industry and continue her study.
Selena Gomez plans to leave her career in TV after finishing the filming of "Wizards of Waverly Place". "I think this'll be the last series that I do," the 16-year-old cutie says in an interview with New York Post's Page Six.
By leaving TV, Selena expects to expand her career on movie industry, stating "I'm going to try to pull a
Natalie Portman." Besides, the young talented star admits that she wants to portray different character from Alex Russo in the TV show.
"I'm going to make that transition slowly," she claims. "I'm not going to immediately go do something that's way off the charts, because my goal is to keep my audience and have them grow with me."
In addition to her dream to come into movie industry, Selena reveals that she is also desperate to continue her study at Northwestern University. "Natalie went to Harvard while shooting 'Star Wars,'" she testifies. "I don't know how she did it. I want to have lunch with her and ask her -- that seems like a bunch of stress right there."
