"Am I really?" says Adam Lambert when learning that he secures a spot on the list of 2009 People's Hottest Bachelors. The 27-year-old singer really doubts that he can make the list because he is gay and feels that he is not attractive enough to be honored as one of the sexiest single men this year. "I'm not hot!" he states in an interview with Nancy O'Dell from Access Hollywood.
Still in the same interview, the runner-up of "American Idol" season 8 says that "it's just a bonus" if people can change their minds about gay community after knowing that he is really proud of his sexuality. Adam actually is just expecting to focus on his music career.
"I mean my goal is to just sing," he giggles. "I'm just putting on a show, you know, and if that's how people feel about it then that's really cool."
Recently, People magazine published the list of 2009 Hottest Bachelors. "Gossip Girl" actor Chace Crawford secured the first position. The 23-year-old heartthrob beat Robert Pattinson, who only got number 10 on the list.
