Running away from his crazy female fans, Robert Pattinson allegedly was hit by a taxi in New York City on Thursday, June 18. The "Twilight" star, according to Radar Online, was spotted getting clipped by the taxi at noon in front of the Strand Bookstore on Broadway and 12th Street.
Robert Pattinson was around the town for filming his new movie "Remember Me". When he was seen going out from the bookstore, his hysterical fans soon ambushed him. In the rain, they tried to hustle him quickly across the busy street even though he was protected by five security guards. Feeling disturbed hearing the scream of the fans, Pattinson rushed across the road and a taxi soon grazed him.
After being hit in the hip, the 23-year-old hunk stood for a moment looking stunned, Radar Online reports. A bodyguard immediately checked if he was okay and then screamed to the fans, "You see what you did, you almost killed him!"
