Disney execs ask Selena Gomez to deny rumors of her dating Taylor Lautner to keep her image among kids, Star Magazine reports.

Taylor Lautner. Star Magazine in its June 29 edition claims the 16-year-old cutie is forced to conceal her romance with Taylor.
Moreover, Disney execs are said asking Selena to deny reports of her dating Taylor because they are afraid that the relationship will destroy her image among kids. Additionally, they fear that the twosome's romance will drop the ratings of her TV show "Wizards of Waverly Place".
"The network doesn't want parents to get the wrong idea and stop their kids from watching Selena's show," a source says. Therefore, Selena is "forced to downplay the relationship even though she's crazy about him."
"Disney wants all its stars to be wholesome and execs told Selena to deny she's dating Taylor because that might taint her squeaky clean image," the source continues. "She can be 'friends' with him, but nothing more than that."
Selena Gomez and Taylor Lautner were rumored dating because they were often photographed hanging out together during their break time from filming their movies in Vancouver, Canada. The pair was also snapped engaging in some public display of affection, including holding hands and cuddling.
