Johnny Depp is a big star, but also he has a big heart. Recently, the actor gave 4,000 U.S. dollars tip when having dinner at Gibsons Bar and Steakhouse in Chicago. On Thursday night, June 18, he visited the restaurant after attending the Chicago premiere of his flick "
Public Enemies" and stayed there until 2.30 A.M.
Serving the movie star was a lucky veteran waiter Mohammed A Sekhani who received big tip from Johnny. The waiter informed Chicago Sun Times that Johnny "hosted a party for 15 people including director Michael Mann and co-star
Marion Cotillard and the tip was split 12 ways." He and his pals spent around $4,400 on food and drink that night.
Mohammed has served many celebrities before and got huge tips from several of them such as
Kiefer Sutherland and the late singer
Frank Sinatra, but he claimed "The Pirates Of The Caribbean" star as the best of all. "Depp is the finest of all the stars that I have ever waited on and he is a true icon, and his ability to respect others is phenomenal. He loves Chicago and Chicago loves him - Johnny Depp is one cool dude," he stated.
