Being a best friend is not enough, recently Selena Gomez has taken the role of cupid for Taylor Swift. The Disney cutie plays matchmaker to her singer pal by hooking her up with Forever The Sickest Kids's frontman Jonathan Cook. The teen star, who has denied rumors she is dating "Twilight" hunk Taylor Lautner, has set up introductions between the "You Belong With Me" songstress and Jonathan via iChat.
Jonathan doesn't show any objection being introduced to Taylor by Selena. He even praises the country singer, calling her as his "celebrity crush." Jonathan further talks about Taylor, "She is gorgeous...She is an amazing songwriter, and I can relate to her not only as a musician but also as a writer...Plus, she seems so down-to-earth, I always root for her as a fan!"
To E! Online, Jonathan admits, "Selena suggests girls for me to date. And she told me she has to approve of any girls that I date." He, in turn, also tries to select a guy with whom Selena should have a date, saying "I've suggested that she date Shia LeBeouf. She's so funny. She's so into him."
