Brian Oxman, Michael Jackson's family lawyer, unveils a new fact about the King of Pop, who passed away on Thursday afternoon, June 25. "He feared somebody wanted to kill him," Oxman tells Life and Style. "He was even concerned people would kill him to somehow try to take control of the The Beatles back catalog."
Additionally, an insider tells the magazine that his family, who demanded a second autopsy, believed that Jackson was deliberately being kept in a drugged state by people who wanted to get his money. "He appeared to be taking a variety of strong narcotics, and many of those drugs were obtained in the names of his staff and associates," the insider says.
"While the people around him insist they were acting in his best interest, the drugs were used to control and manipulate Michael -- and the drugs eventually killed him," the insider continues telling . "And now that Michael's gone, his family has asked the LAPD to investigate [whether there was any thing unusual about his money trail]. A team has already started probing his finances."
Previously, The Sun claimed they got the leak from Michael Jackson's autopsy. It was said that the 50-year-old singer was "bald, barely eating, and his stomach contained only partially-dissolved pills" when he died. He reportedly dropped to a "severely emaciated" 8st 1oz.
