A representative for ABC has dismissed rumors that Susan Boyle will make a cameo on an episode of 'Ugly Betty'.

America Ferrera to star on the comedy series.
Previously, it was reported that Susan Boyle was contacted by the TV execs last month to "play herself" on "Ugly Betty". "Susan has been bombarded with offers of work in America, but this is something she is really keen on and we hope to make happen," a source said of the "Britain's Got Talent" star.
At that time, Boyle's representative neither confirmed nor denied the rumors, only saying "Susan has many offers on the table." The representative then continued, "At the moment she is looking forward to recording her album."
"Ugly Betty" was first aired in 2006. It is about awkward magazine assistant Betty Suarez, the character portrayed by America Ferrera, who is described as a kind-hearted young Latina from Queens, New York. She is brave, but sorely lacking in social skills, self-confidence, fashion sense, and aesthetic polish.
The TV series has been renewed by ABC for a fourth season. It is scheduled to be aired on October 9 at 9:00 P.M. Eastern/8:00 P.M. Central.
