Entertainment Weekly confirms that Hilary Duff will make an appearance in the fourth episode of 'Gossip Girl' 3rd season.

Hilary Duff is going to star on "Gossip Girl". The 21-year-old beauty, according to Entertainment Weekly, will join the production of the TV series for a multi-episode story arc in the fall.
Duff will make an appearance on the fourth episode, which is scheduled to be broadcast on October 5, of the hit CW show's 3rd season. She is slated to star as Olivia Burke, who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional and out-of-the-spotlight college experience. Jessica Szohr, reports.
"Gossip Girl", which was first broadcast in 2007, is drama comedy TV show which is made based on Alloy Entertainment's book series. The story centers on the lives of socialite teenagers who grow up in New York City's Upper East Side. All of them attend elite academic institutions and have to deal with friends, family, jealousy, and other issues.
