National Enquirer has published a picture of Robert Pattinson's first girlfriend named Nina Schubert. In the picture which was taken in 2006, the British heartthrob was seen happily smiling when standing next to Schubert.
The media reported that Schubert and Pattinson began dating in 2003 until she finally worked as a model and he built his acting career. Schubert was said feeling heartbreaking when they broke up in 2006. "Nina was heartbroken. She traveled to the South of France and fell for an Australian. They became engaged, but eventually split up," one of her close friends told National Enquirer. "Nina hasn't been able to get over Rob and shake the fact that she was his first love."
"Over the past year, it really hit her hard when she saw him get famous," the pal continued. "She realizes that she had Rob all to herself, but now he seems to be the subject of every girl's dreams and fantasies. She's still trying to come to grips with what happened between them."
Earlier this year, Schubert reportedly moved to a small coastal town on New Zealand's north island to live with her relatives. She currently is working on a slaughterhouse. "Rob is still a really good friend of mine. He's...going to come here," Schubert told National Enquirer.
