Casting for Audrina Patridge's Friends on New TV Show Begun

New details about Audrina Patridge's new TV show emerge. The show, which is tentatively titled "The Colony", will begin shooting in August. Star Magazine reports that the producers currently are busy casting some people as the 24-year-old beauty's friends.

"The show is currently casting for Audrina's new BFFs. They have chosen a girl pursuing a music career. The others will also have some sort of artsy interest," a source tells Star Magazine. Additionally, Audrina is said being involved in choosing people who will portray her new friends. "She wants to make sure they find people she actually wants to get to know," the source explains further.

Last month, Audrina Patridge opened up that she has been working on a new TV show with MTV. She admitted that the show, for which she will serve as the actress and producer, will be "spicier, edgier, and older" than her previous TV series "The Hills".
