When Kristen met Joan Jett, the real character that she portrays in the movie about the rock band, on the set in California, they "managed to have a laugh about the rumor." The insider added, "Kristen just thought it was ridiculous."
A source close to Kristen also helped defending the star regarding the pregnancy rumors that were first reported by an Australian print media, claiming "It is a nonsense, made-up story from an Australian tabloid with no merit." At that time, Australia's New Weekly wrote Kristen suspected she might be pregnant after she realized that she hadn't had her period.
