Taylor Lautner Says 'Twilight' Fans Are 'So Passionate'

Taylor Lautner has shared his feeling about 'Twilight' fans, praising them for being 'so dedicated and so passionate.'

Taylor Lautner recently had a photo shoot session for the August issue of Interview Magazine and spent some time to have a chat with Michael Martin from the publication. During the interview, the "Twilight" hunk shared his feeling about fans of the vampire flick and praised them. "They are very intense, but it's cool that they're so dedicated and so passionate. They're the reason we're here doing this sequel [The Twilight Saga's New Moon]. So I'm thankful for the fans," he said.

Taylor also admitted that he loved to be surrounded by his fans although sometimes they can be a little overwhelming. "I like meeting them. But, yeah, they're pretty intense. Sometimes it becomes a little overwhelming...," he stated. Then he continued telling Interview Magazine, "We've met many different fans: the criers, who come around quite often; the hyperventilators who stop breathing and have to have a medic come. We've definitely seen some passion."

When asked about how he feels for being the center of fans' admiration, Taylor humbly answered, "I don't even know. I don't know if it's really hit me yet." The actor believes that fans simply worship the "Twilight" film series and his character Jacob Black, claiming "They're just passionate for the series and for the characters, and we're just lucky enough to be a part of this. I don't think it has much to do with me personally; it's more because I'm playing the beloved Jacob Black."
