Ivanka Trump announces in her Twitter page that she has been engaged to her longtime lover Jared Kushner.
, the daughter of Ivana Trump and business magnate Donald Trump, has decided to bring her relationship with her longtime boyfriend Jared Kushner to the next level. A representative for the couple confirmed that both of them got engaged on Wednesday night, July 15.
Reinforcing the representative's statement, the 27-year-old model wrote on her Twitter page on the following day, "I got engaged last night...truly the happiest day of my life!!!" Then, Donald dished on his daughter's engagement, telling "I'm very happy about it. They make a magnificent couple."
Ivanka Trump began dating Jared Kushner, the publisher of The New York Observer, in 2007. The pair once briefly split, but they reunited in July 2008. Ivanka, who is currently working for his father as the Vice President of Real Estate Development and Acquisitions at the Trump Organization, has converted to Judaism to follow Jared's faith.
