"That is just annoying," says Gerard Butler when talking about his alleged romance with Jennifer Aniston, his "Bounty Hunter" co-star. "People say I'm always dating so and so, and sometimes it's three people in one day. I'm trying to make movies, work hard and do my best. Then this kind of thing happens and people start to associate me more with that. It gets ridiculous," he continues.
Though he has denied the romance rumors, the 39-year-old actor sings praise to Aniston, considering her "one classy lady". "Everyday I go to work with her I'm always surprised about how cool, easy and down to earth and real she is," Butler recalls his shooting time with the 40-year-old beauty.
"I'm in New York right now filming and I'm in heaven," he continues. "I can't always say that about movies, but to be filming this romantic comedy with Jennifer and a story that made my side split when I read it - I'm lucky. I'm happy as a pig in s---, as they say."
Rumors of Gerard Butler having a special relationship with Jennifer Aniston first emerged in April. As of late, they were romantically linked again after she reportedly called him a "great kisser". "Jen and Gerard often practice kissing scenes even after the cameras stop rolling. Jen will say, 'I think we need to do that again,'" a source from the set of "Bounty Hunter" told Star Magazine.
"They're both hot and single! After they finish a scene, they stick around so they can hang out with each other. Neither is in a rush to leave," the source added. "Gerard's been after Jen ever since they met at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2008. He really has a thing for her. He wants to date her, not just have a fling - or at least that's what he is telling her!"
