On Friday, July 17, Entertainment Weekly unveiled the first official shot from "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time", which is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on May 28, 2010. The film's leading actor Jake Gyllenhaal appeared in the image.
In an interview with the media, the 28-year-old actor shared his experience of doing his own stunts, like sword-fighting, climbing walls, and jumping off of buildings. "I'm tired of taking myself so seriously. It's nice when a stuntman turns to you and is like, 'Actors don't normally do this,'" the Academy Awards-nominated actor said.
