Actor Rupert Everett has become the first celebrity who criticized late Michael Jackson by calling him 'a freak' who was better off dead.

Rupert Everett thinks the King of Pop was better off dead. On his recent interview with The Daily Mirror, the gay actor became the first celebrity who criticized the late singer.
During the interview, Rupert called Michael "a freak". "I think it was fortuitous that he died. He was supposed to be doing 50 concerts in London," he stated his opinion of late Michael. He then criticized the superstar's appearance, saying, "He looked like a character from 'Shrek'. He was a black to white minstrel."
Rupert, who is famous for his role in "My Best Friend's Wedding", additionally related Michael's death with his child molestation case. "He [Michael Jackson] was crucified by that court case when he was accused of child molestation - that killed him," the British star claimed.
"He personified the pain and anxiety of a black man in a slave country," Rupert continued speaking of Michael. Later, he told , "We all watched as he changed from black to white. He was living performance art."
