Single Demi Lovato Doesn't Like to Be in a Relationship

'I don't really like relationships,' says Demi Lovato revealing that she isn't really interested in having a special romance with certain guy.

Demi Lovato, who recently split from Miley Cyrus' brother Trace Cyrus, reveals that she isn't really interested in having a special relationship with certain guy. "I don't really like relationships," she says in an interview with Associated Press. "I love boys, (laughs) but, you know, at the same time, it's like, I'm not going to go out there and date every single guy that I want. I might, you know, get their number and talk to them a little bit, but there is nothing wrong with that, I'm 16."

Additionally, the "Princess Protection Program" star claims she prefers having lots of guy friends to going on a date with one man. "I'd rather have a lot of really cute guy friends. That's why, another reason why you never really see me 'with somebody' like for a long time. Cause it's like I'd rather have a lot of really cute guy friends that you can have the attention from by flirting with them, but you don't have to kiss them and you don't have to be tied down to anybody," she tells Associated Press.

On July 21, Trace Cyrus confirmed his break-up with Demi Lovato, citing schedule and age differences as the reasons for the split. "We both have very busy schedules - we're both on tour right now. I'm always on the other side of the world and so is she, so it just seemed like something that can't work out at this time," the Metro Station's vocalist told People.

"She's someone I can totally relate to, but she is a lot younger than me," Trace added. "When someone is that much younger, you're looking for different things in relationships. Maybe when she's older and we've both matured, we'll be looking for the same thing and it can work out."
