Just one day after news that Jude Law is expecting a baby from his ex-girlfriend emerged, the identity of the woman, who is carrying the actor's baby, has been revealed. TMZ has reported that the mystery girl, whose name wasn't mentioned in earlier reports, is actress and model Samantha Burke.

Confirming the issue, Samantha's attorney has released a statement, saying "Ms. Burke can confirm that she did in fact have a relationship with Mr. Law and that she has informed Mr. Law that she is expecting his child later this fall." The attorney added, "Since informing Mr. Law of the pregnancy, he has been nothing but responsive and supportive of Ms. Burke and the pregnancy."

TMZ also informed their sources claimed Samantha has conducted DNA tests and the results have confirmed that Jude is the father of her baby. In addition, according to Samantha's online registry at Babies "R" Us, she is having a girl, who will be named Sophia, due on October 6. If the baby girl is born on the reported date, Jude will have two children with same date of birth as his second child Rafferty was also born on October 6.

On July 29, Jude Law's representative announced the "Cold Mountain" star is expecting a baby due this fall with ex-girlfriend and "intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life." The forthcoming baby will the fourth child for Jude as he has already had three children, Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 6, with ex-wife Sadie Frost.
