On her first day filming her scenes for 'Gossip Girl', Hilary Duff has been joined by Penn Badgley, Blake Lively, and Chace Crawford.

Hilary Duff begins filming her scenes for "Gossip Girl". She was snapped donning a blue t-shirt matched with black trousers and a brown hat on the set of the TV series in New York City on Monday, August 3.
The "Lizzie McGuire" star filmed the scenes along with
Penn Badgley, who portrays Dan Humphrey on the show. During the filming, both of them were photographed chatting to each other and grabbing coffee. Also joining them on the set to shoot the upcoming 3rd season of the CW TV series were
Chace Crawford and Penn's real-life dating partner
Blake Lively.
Earlier last month, Hilary Duff was announced to guest star on "Gossip Girl" 3rd season. She will appear on the fourth episode, which will be aired on October 5, to portray Olivia Burke, a famous film star who comes to NYU in search of a traditional and out-of-the-spotlight college experience.
Recently, the producers of the show reportedly asked Hilary to reduce her weight as they considered her body not slim enough to "fit in" with Blake Lively and
Leighton Meester's skinny bodies. The former Disney star was said feeling less confident after hearing the requirement. "Hilary is fuming. She's feeling insecure," a source said.
