Kellan Lutz Begins Rehearsal With 'Eclipse' Cast

Kellan Lutz has joined the cast of 'The Twilight Saga's Eclipse' in Vancouver, Canada on Wednesday, August 5 to start rehearsing for the film.

Kellan Lutz has been reported arriving in Vancouver, Canada on Tuesday, August 4 to get ready for the production of "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse". The 25-year-old hunk joined his fellow cast mates Ashley Greene and Xavier Samuel. Bryce Dallas Howard, who has been appointed to play Victoria replacing Rachelle Lefevre, also made her first appearance with the group.

However, Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were not seen among the cast in Vancouver. The three stars are still on location for their other films. The Bella Swan's depicter is still filming "The Runaways" in California with Dakota Fanning, while the Edward Cullen's depicter has been wrapping up filming for "Remember Me" in New York. As for Taylor, the Jacob Black's depicter has been busy filming "Valentine's Day" in Los Angeles.

Recently, another "Eclipse" star Peter Facinelli revealed that the film's cast will begin rehearsal on Wednesday, August 5. "We start rehearsals tomorrow. We have two weeks of rehearsal and then a week of fight training," Peter told OK! Magazine on Tuesday, August 4. The actor who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen additionally said, "'Eclipse' has more action in it and so I'm excited to get in there and have Carlisle roll his sleeves up a little bit and get into fight stuff."

Peter also informed about the storyline of the movie saying, "What happens in 'Eclipse' is Victoria comes back and she builds an army of newborn vampires which are freshly bitten vampires which are basically blood-crazed and she's trying to get this army to come after us so that she can get to Bella and so we team up with the werewolves to attack all these newly bitten vampires."

The production of "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" is scheduled to be kicked off on August 17. Based on the third book in Stephenie Meyer's vampire love saga, the film centers on Bella who is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob, knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. Summit plans to release the movie on June 30, 2010.
