Release date for Selena Gomez's not-yet-titled first album has been set. The 17-year-old actress/singer has announced that her debut album will be available in stores next month. "P.S. Just thought I'd share that my record comes out SEPTEMBER 29!!!!!!! Ready????" she wrote in her Twitter page on Wednesday, August 5.
A day before, Selena Gomez revealed that "Falling Down" will be the first single off the upcoming album. "My single is called 'Falling Down' and it's basically about Hollywood and what people think about it; and essentially how plastic it is sometimes. It's fun and I think girls can relate to it somewhat; for me it was because of Hollywood but it can really relate to a mean girl, an ex-boyfriend, to whoever," she told Just Jared of the tune.
On July 24, Gomez released a music video for "Magic", which becomes the soundtrack for her movie "Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie". Few days later, other theme songs for the film, "Magical" and "Disappear", hit the internet.
