It is believed that the famous boxer did the action as a publicity stunt for the event. Additionally, the member of Jonas Brothers reportedly wore a wig during the show.
Jonas Brothers were appointed to become the hosts of 2009 Teen Choice Awards, which winners are voted by teenagers. Beside serving as the show's hosts, the famous musical trio took the stage to perform their tune "Much Better", which comes from their latest studio album entitled "Lines, Vines and Trying Times". The 11th annual ceremony is scheduled to be broadcast on Fox Monday, August 10 at 8:00 P.M. ET/PT.
Recently, it was announced that Joe's ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift grabbed Choice Female Music Artist prize, beating Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, and Britney Spears who were also nominated for the same category.
