Lady GaGa has been approached to strip off for PETA's next anti-fur campaign, 'I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur'.
Singing sensation
Lady GaGa has been asked by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) to take her clothes off for their next anti-fur campaign, "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur". The organization's spokesperson, according to New York Post's Page Six, is currently approaching the 23-year-old songstress to join the campaign.
If she accepts the offer, GaGa will follow the footsteps of
Eva Mendes, Christy Turlington, and
Pamela Anderson, who previously have flaunted their figures to pose for the animal rights organization's ad campaigns. Unfortunately, a spokesperson for the "Poker Face" hitmaker hasn't commented on the matter.
The chief of PETA, Dan Mathews, decided to ask Lady GaGa to model for their new "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" ad after watching her anti-fur dedication by donning Kermit the Frog outfit on a U.S. TV show last month. Talking about her costume, she told
Ryan Seacrest, "I really loved this one ... because I thought it was [a] commentary on not wearing fur. I hate fur and I don't wear fur."
