Joe Jackson has shot down rumors that his son Michael Jackson has been buried in an unmarked plot at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.

Michael Jackson has been laid to rest. The singer's father told E! Online his son has not been buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles, as it was said in previous news. However, Joe refused to give any detail of the burial plans or confirm speculation that Michael's body has been placed in Motown maven Berry Gordy's crypt.
On Monday, August 10, there were reports that Michael has been buried in an unmarked plot at Forest Lawn Memorial Park and a source claimed the family keeps the location a secret to avoid fans who will "descend on the cemetery and damage or deface the grave." The news additionally mentioned that the King of Pop might be buried near the grave of his beloved grandmother Martha Bridges, who died in 1990.
During the interview, Joe also expressed his support of a proposal, which has been developed by Colony Capital, the investment firm that saved Neverland from being auctioned off last year, with Jackson's estate, to relocate Neverland to Las Vegas, saying "I think Vegas would be great." Joe believes Michael's "fans would come" to such shrine although he thinks the family would not do the same thing.
When asked about investigation of Michael's death, Joe declined to discuss it and just told , "I still can't believe he's gone." Most recently, the Los Angeles County Coroner's office has announced they have known Michael's autopsy results. However, the coroner's office claimed the cause of the singer's death will not be made public while detectives are still investigating the case.
