Though Audrina Patridge has agreed to appear on 'Dancing with the Stars', MTV allegedly won't let her to compete in the upcoming 9th season of the show.

Audrina Patridge, won't appear on the upcoming 9th season of "Dancing with the Stars". She actually has agreed to compete in the hit ABC show, but the folks at MTV reportedly shot down her dreams to pair up with a professional ballroom dance partner on the reality dancing contest.
"They won't let Audrina do it. They told her it would be impossible because of scheduling conflicts," a source tells . "Audrina wants to do it. Everyone around her wants her to do it. But MTV, for some reason, won't make it happen. Why wouldn't they want someone from 'The Hills' on such a huge show?"
As of the press time, representatives for both the show and MTV refuse to comment on the matter. An official statement about the contenders of the show will be announced on "Good Morning America" Monday, August 17.
Earlier today, Us Magazine reported that
La Toya Jackson, the sister of late King of Pop
Michael Jackson, has been approached to become a contestant of "Dancing with the Stars" next season. "[La Toya is] in serious discussions to join the show," a source close to 53-year-old songstress says.
