After denying rumor that Michael Jackson has been buried, Joe Jackson has informed about when and where his son will be laid to rest.
's family apparently has reached a final agreement about burial plans for the late King of Pop. In an interview with New York Daily News, Joe Jackson has informed that his son will be buried at 10 A.M on Saturday, August 29, to coincide with the singer's 51st birthday.
Beside informing the burial time, Michael's father also said that his son will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles, which has been long rumored to be the final resting place for the superstar. Joe claimed the family has just finalized the burial plans in the past few days.
Contrary to his previous statement which supported the plan to relocate Michael's Neverland estate to Las Vegas, in the latest interview Joe dismissed the talk. "How would they do that?" he reportedly told New York Daily News.
Previously, there was rumor that Michael Jackson has been buried in an unmarked plot at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles and the Jackson family tried to keep the location under wrap. However, Joe Jackson later shot down the rumor, affirming that Michael has not been buried yet.
