Joe Jonas and Kelly Clarkson have been reported to join Victoria Adams and Shania Twain as guest judges on the ninth season of 'American Idol'.
Joe Jonas keeps expanding his small screen career. The middle of
Jonas Brothers is going to be guest judge at an audition round for upcoming ninth season of "American Idol" in Dallas on Monday, August 24. The news was first reported by Fox News and was later confirmed by a source close to the show and as well as a rep for the band.
Beside Joe, another celebrity who has been reported to sit among
Simon Cowell,
Randy Jackson and
Kara DioGuardi is
Kelly Clarkson. The source said the winner of "American Idol" first season is nearing a deal to be another guest judge at the singing competition. While Joe has been confirmed to fill the seat that was left by
Paula Abdul, Kelly's involvement on the show has not been finalized yet.
Paula Abdul reportedly decided to end her appearance as a judge on "American Idol" earlier this month after her request for a rise of payment for the next contract was turned down by the show. Since then, there were some names which have been announced to be temporary judge for the show, including
Victoria Adams,
Shania Twain and
Mary J. Blige.
