Jon Hamm, who stars as Don Draper on TV series "Mad Men", will be starring together with "High School Musical" actress Vanessa Hudgens on action-fantasy movie "Sucker Punch". On the 1950s-set flick, he will portray High Roller, a mysterious gambling man.
Hamm is currently getting involved in the production of "Mad Men" third season. In September, the 38-year-old star is scheduled go to Boston to begin filming romance-comedy flick "The Town", which will be directed by famous actor Ben Affleck. After wrapping the movie's production, he is going to fly to Vancouver, Canada to join Hudgens and other cast members of "Sucker Punch" to work on the film, which will be released in U.S. theaters on March 25, 2011.
"Sucker Punch" follows Emily Browning's Baby Doll, a young girl who is confined to a mental institution by her evil stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. While there, she imagines an alternative reality to hide her from the pain, and in that world, she begins planning her escape, needing to steal five objects to help get her out before she is deflowered by a vile man. Zack Snyder, who previously worked on "300", has been appointed to helm the project.
