Rupert Grint says he is desperate to have a girlfriend. The depicter of Ron Weasley on "Harry Potter" film series, who turned 21 years old on Monday, August 24, reportedly is tired of being the only one in his companions who is still unattached. Thus, he is currently "on the hunt" for a dating partner.
"I'm here with a mate as I'm still single," Grint told Associated Press at V Festival in U.K. over the weekend. "All my mates are loved-up - I'd like a girlfriend. Perhaps I'll meet someone here this weekend."
Recently, Rupert Grint admitted that he always feels "quite insecure" around girls, so he has yet to find a perfect lover who fits his "weird" tastes. "I've never been seriously involved with anyone," the young movie star said in an interview with Telegraph.
"I've certainly never been in love. I've always preferred to keep things casual," Grint added. "It's not that I find it hard to meet girls - they do come up and chat me up from time to time. Sometimes I'm interested, I tend not to go for the prettier ones. I prefer the quirkier types."
