Revealing there will be less Robert Pattinson in 'The Twilight Saga's New Moon', director Chris Weitz has claimed fans will still be entertained with Taylor Lautner who has bigger part in the film.
Chris Weitz has revealed that fans of
Robert Pattinson will see him less in "
The Twilight Saga's New Moon" than in "
Twilight". Realizing that some people who adore the British actor would not mind to see much Robert in the second film, the director claimed he has already presented another hunk,
Taylor Lautner, who can replace Robert's deficiency in the second film.
"You'll see quite a lot of Rob in the film, but it's seen subjectively, through Bella's eyes," Chris explained to MTV how Robert's character Edward Cullen will appear in "New Moon". He further explained, "It's also in dreams that she has of him as well. It strikes this very fine balance between too much Rob and too little Rob."
Chris further claimed, "Well, I know for a lot of people there's no such thing as too much Rob." He immediately added that he already has solution for that matter, stating "But we've got a nice dose of Taylor to sweeten any Rob deficiencies. It is a disease that can only be treated with Vitamin T, for Taylor."
Based on the second novel of Stephanie Meyer's "Twilight" series, "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" centers on Bella Swan who is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire lover Edward Cullen, but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black. Robert Pattinson,
Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner reprise their roles as Edward, Bella and Jacob respectively. The film is planned to hit U.S. theaters on November 20.
