Representative for Warner Brothers has denied report that Megan Fox would play Catwoman in next 'Batman' film, saying 'It's not true.'
is not attached to play Catwoman. Contrary to previous report which said that the "
Transformers" beauty would be the next woman who slips into the tight leather catsuit, a representative for Warner Brothers said, "It's rumor. It's not true." The representative then added, "There is no script. There is no project to be cast in."
On August 26, The Sun reported that Megan Fox has signed on to follow in the footsteps of
Michelle Pfeiffer and
Halle Berry to play Catwoman in next "Batman" film. It was also mentioned that actors
Christian Bale and
Michael Caine as well as director Christopher Nolan, who have worked together in "
Batman Begins" and "
The Dark Knight", would team up once again in the upcoming superhero movie project.
In another Megan Fox news, the 23-year-old actress has just completed the production of "
Jennifer's Body", which will be released in U.S. theaters on September 18. She is currently shooting "
Jonah Hex", in which she plays the love interest of the title character.
