Lindsay Lohan and her on-and-off girlfriend Samantha Ronson are among celebrities who have expressed their sympathy following the shocking death of DJ AM on August 28.
Following the shocking death of musician DJ AM a.k.a. Adam Goldstein, on Friday, August 28, numbers of celebrity friends and fans have expressed their sympathy and condolence through Twitter.
Lindsay Lohan was among the celebrities who responded to the news, writing "nononononono what????? i can't believe this.. i'm in shock. why? why? r.i.p. Adam."

Samantha Ronson also expressed her shock to the death of her fellow DJ. "Waiting for someone to say this isn't true," she tweeted. Similar reaction also came from
Kelly Osbourne who wrote, "i just cant believe that adam (dj.am) is gone i dont want to believe it im in shock. he was one of the most genuine people i have ever met!"
Meanwhile,
Heidi Montag chose to send her prayer to DJ AM's close family and friends, writing "my thoughts and prayers are with DJ AM's family and friends." Other celebrities who also reacted to the musician's shocking death included

DJ AM was found death in his New York City apartment on Friday afternoon. A police source told Us Magazine that the 36-year-old musician "was found in his bedroom, in bed, face down" and was seen wearing no shirt but pants. Adding to the police's information, a representative for the DJ stated, "The circumstances surrounding his death are unclear. Out of respect for his family and loved ones, please respect their privacy at this time."
