DJ AM Reportedly Dumped by Model Lover Few Weeks Before His Death

Within the past weeks before he was found dead on August 28, DJ AM was reported feeling devastated after being dumped by his model girlfriend Hayley Wood.

DJ AM's final days are finally revealed. A source tells People that the 36-year-old performer was dumped by his model girlfriend Hayley Wood within the past weeks before he was found dead in his New York City apartment on Friday afternoon, August 28.

"She ended it, and he didn't want it to end. The breakup hurt him," the source says. "He hadn't been in a good place lately. For the past week, he wasn't really around, he was keeping to himself, and he was blowing people off."

Though he felt devastated because of the break-up, the celebrity DJ kept trying to be professional. On Friday, August 21, he was seen deejaying at Rain Nightclub in Las Vegas. At that time, the popular DJ, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, was reportedly snapped "super chill, like he always is."

A night before, DJ AM was spotted attending Marilyn Manson's concert along with Carey Hart, the husband of Pink. Then, on Tuesday, August 25, he was photographed in the DJ booth at Dusk, a club in Atlantic City, of which he became the part owner.

About DJ AM's death, a police source previously told Us Magazine, "He was found in his bedroom, in bed, face down." The police source, moreover, claimed the deejay was seen shirtless when his death body was found. As of the press time, there has been no further information about the reason of his death.
