After an alleged huge fight with his bandmate Liam Gallagher before their show in Paris, Noel Gallagher has announced that he leaves the band claiming he can't stand working with his brother.
Noel Gallagher has announced that he quits on Friday, August 28. "It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight," he wrote in a statement on the band's official website. He then explained his decision to leave the band after 18 years, arguing "People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer."

Noel's announcement that he quits Oasis came shortly after he reportedly had a dramatic pre-concert fight with his bandmate brother Liam Gallagher. On Friday night, the two were going to perform at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, France, when Liam reportedly smashed one of his brother's guitars backstage, sending Noel into a fury. After a confrontation, Noel stormed out and announced his quit from the band.

Their scheduled show in Paris that night was announced to be called off through a message on video screens that mentioned, "As a result of an altercation within the band, the Oasis gig has been canceled." The band were also supposed to perform on Saturday, August 29 at the Rock Am See Festival in Konstanz, Germany, and Sunday, August 30 at the I-Day Festival in Milan, Italy.

Following Noel's decision to end his career with Oasis, the shows in Germany and Italy apparently had to be canceled. "Apologies to all the people who bought tickets for the shows in Paris, Konstanz and Milan," Noel wrote on the message posted on the band's MySpace page regarding the cancellation.
