Alex Meraz says he has done an 'overly aggressive' scene, including screaming, grabbing Kristen Stewart by the throat, and hurtling his line at her, on 'The Twilight Saga's New Moon'.
Alex Meraz, the depicter of Paul, a member of Wolf Pack, on upcoming flick "
The Twilight Saga's New Moon", was seen attending the second day of official "Twilight" convention in New Jersey on Saturday, August 29. At the event, he shared about an embarrassing moment when filming the second "
Twilight" film with
Kristen Stewart.
Filming a confrontation scene between Wolf Pack and the 19-year-old beauty's character, Bella Swan, Meraz said he has done an "overly aggressive" scene, including screaming, grabbing Stewart by the throat, and hurtling his line at her. Recalling the shooting time, a member of the film's cast Chaske Spencer said, "[Director] Chris Weitz comes off-set like, 'Yeah, I like the energy Alex, but just take it down a little. Meanwhile the producers are freaking out back there." Then, Meraz chimed in, "Cause nobody touches Kristen Stewart."
Still at the same convention, Meraz hinted at a fighting scene which he will do with
Kellan Lutz, who reprises his role as vampire Emmett Cullen. "In theory it's a good idea, but I got my eyes beat up. So they're kind of red. I'm being insecure," the 24-year-old actor stated.
"The Twilight Saga's New Moon" centers on Bella Swan who feels devastated after facing separation from his vampire lover Edward Cullen. She then begins to build a closer friendship with werewolf Jacob Black. The flick will be released in U.S. theaters on November 20.
