Renee Zellweger Is Fine After Car Accident

Renee Zellweger is fine after being involved in a minor car accident. Standing on the side of her car, which was towed away from the scene, the actress, who was seen unharmed, was photographed making a phone call. "A car made an illegal U turn in front of Renee's car and hit her. She isn't injured though and everything is fine, she's fine," said a source close to her.

On Monday morning, August 31, Renee Zellweger was traveling alone in her silver Mercedes G Wagon when she was hit by a wrong-way driver. She then made a call to police at around 11 A.M. and three police officers were seen arriving on scene to help her. Later, a man, who seems to be her friend, was also there to offer support.

"Ms. Zellweger was traveling north on Camden Drive when a green Explorer made an illegal U-turn," said Lieutenant Tony Lee. It appears that the accident made one of the headlights from Renee's car shattered. Though so, the officer claimed, "The accident produced little damage. There were no injuries and no citations were issued."

Lieutenant Tony went on explaining that Renee and the driver of the green Explorer have exchanged information and thus their insurance companies will handle the incident. The officer then added, "Ms. Zellweger was very professional and courteous. Our officer said she was very polite."
