The 21-years-old rising star doesn't seem too mind to have a hourglass body instead of the skinny one.
If Hollywood favors skinny type of body, then
Rumer Willis doesn't fall to the category. However, Rumer doesn't seem to mind having an hourglass figure which sets her apart from that of her mother,
Demi Moore, and the many other actresses. The 21-years-old actress even claimed she is getting used to her curvy shaped body.
"I haven't inherited my mother's body," the silver screen star told Glamour Magazine. "She doesn't really have hips and I have an hourglass, which I hated when I was a kid. But I'm getting used to it now."
Rumer also blasts the notion that a young girl should retain a skinny body. She said that idea was actually promoted by the Tinseltown. The star of "
Sorority Row" said that she is disgusted with the thought that being beautiful means one should have her bone seen through the skin, which has become the trend in Hollywood. With that in mind, Rumer vowed that she will give a "better body image" for "normal" girls.
Rumer Willis made her first movie debut in 1995 where she played alongside her mother in "Now and Then", in which she starred as Angela Albertson. Rumer has been starring in movies like "
The House Bunny" as Joanne, and making several appearances in TV serials such as "CSI: NY", "90210", and "Army Wives". Her latest movie, "Sorority Row", is due for wide release in the U.S. on September 11.
