Spencer Pratt to Legally Change His Name to King Spencer Pratt

It seems that Spencer Pratt really loves to make sensation. Just some days after telling reporters that he considers his wife Heidi Montag aka Heidi Pratt the next King of Pop, "The Hills" actor says he is currently in process of legally changing his name to King Spencer Pratt.

"I've decided since there is a Queen of England and a Prince William that there should be a king of America," Spencer says in a statement to Us Magazine. "I nominate myself for that role."

On August 26, Spencer Pratt said he thought Heidi Montag deserved a royal title as the "new, modern day, 2010 Michael Jackson". The reality TV star also considered the 22-year-old actress/singer, whom he married on April 25, "way bigger" than the late King of Pop. "For all we know, Heidi gets possessed with Michael Jackson's divine spirit," he told Jessi Cruickshank, the host of "The Hills: The After Show".
