Exclusive Robert Pattinson's 'New Moon' Trailer to Be Debuted at 2009 MTV VMAs

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner are scheduled to debut an exclusive expanded trailer for 'The Twilight Saga's New Moon' at 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.

MTV has confirmed that an exclusive expanded trailer for "The Twilight Saga's New Moon" will be premiered at 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, which will be held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on September 13. The film's leading stars, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, will take the stage to debut the trailer during the show.

At the same event, MTV will also premiere "Meet Me on the Equinox", Death Cab for Cutie's song which will serve as the first single off "New Moon" soundtrack. The soundtrack will be available for purchase in U.S. on October 20, while the film itself is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on November 20.

Set to be hosted by comedian Russell Brand, 2009 MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcast live on MTV September 13. Chace Crawford, Katy Perry, and Ne-Yo are among some stars who have been appointed to become the presenters of the event.

Recently, Nick Jonas confirmed that his musical trio Jonas Brothers cannot attend the event because they are currently embarking on a world tour and will have to fly to Canada in the next few weeks to get involved in the production of "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam". The 16-year-old singer also confirmed that their absent from the show isn't caused by Russell Brand, who criticized their purity rings when he became the host of last year's event.
