Adam Lambert has, through his Twitter page, announced that his not-yet-titled post-Idol album will be released in November.
Adam Lambert has taken to his Twitter page to announce the release date of his post-Idol album. On Wednesday, September 2, the runner-up of "American Idol" eight season tweeted, "fyi my album drops Nov 24th."
Previously, 19 Recordings/RCA announced that Adam's album was scheduled to be available in U.S. stores this summer. However, the release date had to be pushed back because it has not yet hit retailers.
Talking about his upcoming studio album, Adam recently told Access Hollywood, "The work I did back then in no way reflects the music I am currently in the studio working on." Then, the 27-year-old singer continued, "I'm thrilled to be working with some of today's hottest songwriters and producers and can't wait for people to hear what my music really sounds like."
In related news, it has been confirmed that the winner of "American Idol" eight season,
Kris Allen, will release his latest studio album on November 17, just a week before Adam's album will come out. Additionally, Danny Gokey, who secured the third rank on "Idol", has signed a recording deal with Adam and Kris' recording studio 19 Recordings/RCA Nashville. He will begin working on his album in Nashville after finishing "American Idols Live!" tour.
