Rumor that Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have reunited is getting stronger. After the two were said spending a night together at the hip Dime bar in Los Angeles in late August, the pair was spotted being involved in deep conversation at Billy Marks West bar in New York City on Tuesday night, September 1.
"They were both there to celebrate a friend's birthday," a friend of Vanessa told Life and Style magazine. "They stood by the bar the entire time, talking pretty much only to each other." Though the two were not touching each other too much, the actress' pal claimed they were definitely seen to have been back on.
The friend then added, "It was more in how serious they looked at each other that told you that they were more than just friends." Later, the alleged reunited couple left the club together. "They held hands waiting for a cab and then hopped in the cab together," the pal informed.
On the next day, Nick and Vanessa were seen having lunch at Manhattan comfort food fave Duke's. Witnesses told OK! Magazine that the couple was spotted holding hands over the table as they ate and chatted. An onlooker even claimed, "They're definitely back on," after judging from their behavior.
Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo began dating in 2006 following his divorce from Jessica Simpson. The couple had been together for about three years before deciding to end their romance in June 2009.
