Susan Boyle's upcoming album 'I Dreamed a Dream' tops the bestsellers chart on Amazon.com for being the most pre-ordered album.
Susan Boyle has made another sensation beside her outstanding performances in "Britain's Got Talent". The Scottish star's debut album "I Dreamed a Dream" has topped the bestsellers chart on Amazon.com. More surprisingly, the album won't be released until November 23 in the U.K and November 24 in the U.S.
As of the press time, "I Dreamed a Dream" has been on the number 1 position for four days, beating
Whitney Houston's comeback album "I Look to You" and
The Beatles' three remastered albums. According to Contactmusic, Susan's album has already been sold to fans, who placed early orders on shopping website Amazon.com, for about tens of thousands of copies.
Susan's representative stated she has celebrated the joyous news by shopping at Harrods, where she bought several dresses, and visiting Suzanne Neville, a high-end boutique specializing in bridal and evening wear on Knightsbridge's Beauchamp Place. "Susan is ecstatic, she can't believe it," the spokesperson additionally said on the church volunteer. "She's in the recording studio this week, which she's loving. She couldn't be happier."
"I Dreamed a Dream" features some songs, including "I Dreamed a Dream", "Memory" and "Cry Me a River". It will also include a cover version of
Madonna's 1995 hit "You'll See". In November, Susan Boyle will embark on a U.S. concert tour as a lead-up to the release of the album.
