Set to premiere its eight season on January 17, 2010, '24' will feature three new cast, Rami Malek, Julian Morris and Hrach Titizian, who have landed multi-episode arcs in the Fox series.
Fox series "24" will have some additional cast members. On Monday, September 7, The Hollywood Reporter informed that Rami Malek, Julian Morris and Hrach Titizian will join the show's leading actor
Kiefer Sutherland to appear in multi-episode arcs in the action TV series.
In "24" upcoming season 8, Rami will play Marcos, an Arab American would-be suicide bomber with sympathies toward radical Islam. He previously starred in "
Night at the Museum" and its sequel "
Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian" as the pharaoh.
As for Julian, the 26-six-year-old actor, who worked together with
Tom Cruise in "
Valkyrie", will portray a CTU SWAT agent. He can next be seen in upcoming horror film "
Sorority Row", which will be released in the U.S. on September 11.
Meanwhile, Hrach is slated to play Nabeel, the second-in-command of security for Anil Kapoor's President Hassan. However, this won't be his first appearance in the series since, back in 2007, he has been featured in an episode of the show as Zamil Kouri.
"24" is a thriller which is shown in real time, with each minute of airtime corresponding to a minute in the lives of the characters. In the upcoming season 8, which will be premiered on January 17, 2010, Kiefer Sutherland will reprise his role as Jack Bauer. Also included in the current cast ensemble are Mary Lynn Rajskub, Annie Wersching, Mykelti Williamson and Freddie Prinze Jr.
