Nina Dobrev and Candice Accola Appear in 'The Vampire Diaries' New Promo Pics

In a new promotional picture for their TV series 'The Vampire Diaries', Nina Dobrev and Candice Accola are seen standing on a street as if they are looking for a ride.

Two new promotional pictures for "The Vampire Diaries" have been released. In a black and white shot, Nina Dobrev, who portrays Elena Gilbert on the TV series, is pictured striking a pose on a street along with her co-star Candice Accola. It seems that the twosome wants to look for a ride as Nina is seen placing her left hand on her eyebrow while Candice is spotted lifting her right hand.

Another image, meanwhile, captures both actresses with other cast ensemble for the new CW show, Sara Canning and Kayla Ewell. All of them are photographed wearing hot pants when looking at the camera.

"The Vampire Diaries" follows Elena, who is described as a beautiful and popular student. As the fall semester begins, she becomes fascinated with mysterious new boy in school, Paul Wesley's Stefan Salvatore, and she has no way of knowing he is a centuries-old vampire.

While Stefan struggles to live peacefully among humans, his brother Damon is the embodiment of violence and brutality. Now these two vampire brothers - one good, one evil - are at war for Elena's soul in the small town of Mystic Falls, Virginia. The first episode of the drama-horror series has been aired on Thursday, September 10 at 8:00 P.M. ET/PT.
