Watching 'Sex and the City' Inspires Tyra Banks to Lose Weight

Giving advice about how to lose weight, Tyra Banks has revealed that watching TV series 'Sex and the City' while exercising on a treadmill helps her to get her current supermodel body.

Tyra Banks has shared her secret of losing weight. In an episode of "The Tyra Show" which will be aired on Friday, September 11, the reality TV mogul explained how Sarah Jessica Parker's TV series "Sex and the City" helped her to get her current shape. "I got rid of one of my couches in my living room and I watched 'Sex and The City' episodes on the treadmill or the elliptical," she stated. "So 'Sex and the City' lasts 30 minutes - that's how long I'm on the elliptical."

During the taping of the show, Tyra also recalled about how media overexposed her when she tried to lose weight after people criticized her for gaining pounds. "The media started taking notice and showing pictures of before and after of me losing weight, and I felt kind of exposed because I wasn't trying to proclaim to the world, 'I got fit and I got healthy and I got in shape,' because I felt kind of conflicted especially after the 'Kiss my fat ass' thing," she said as quoted by People. "It's still fat by the way."

Most recently, Tyra Banks had an interview with Cynthia McFadden, the anchor of ABC's "Nightline", revealing that she wants to have children. However, she believes she doesn't need to get married, saying "I don't have that 'Oh my god, I gotta get married!' thing. If it happens, it happens, but it's never been like 'Oooo, I need to do that!' I think it's because I'm a product of divorce."
