Leona Lewis to Be Immortalized at Madame Tussauds Museum

apparently has been admitted as one of notable celebrities in the U.K. According to reports, the singer will be immortalized in wax at Madame Tussauds in London. She will be honored in October, when the museum unveils her wax figure.

Talking about her image being made into wax sculpture, which costs about 150,000 pound sterling, Leona claimed that it has been her desire since she was a kid. "It is such an honor to be asked by Madame Tussauds to join the other waxwork music stars. It has been a lifelong dream since I visited as a child," she said, before adding "I can't wait to meet my wax double."

Leona's wax sculpture will be dressed in the gown she wore at 2008 Beijing Olympics' closing ceremony. The costume itself was designed by students at the London College of Fashion. For the artwork, the pop star met waxwork specialists earlier this year when they took 300 measurements and a series of reference photographs.

Aside from her personal life, Leona Lewis recently confirmed that her upcoming studio album will be titled "Echo" and it is scheduled to be released under J Records/Syco Music on November 7. "I titled my album Echo since an echo describes a big, organic sound," she stated. In working on her second album, the 24-year-old beauty has teamed up with some top notch musicians, including , , and Ryan Tedder.
