When Taylor Swift is giving an acceptance speech for her Best Female Video prize, Kanye West has been snapped rushing into the stage and grabbing microphone from her hands.
It seems that Kanye West has ruined Taylor Swift's big moment at 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. At the event, the 19-year-old beauty was announced as the winner of Best Female Video category, being awarded for the music video of her tune entitled "You Belong with Me". Winning the prize, she has beaten Beyonce Knowles, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, Kelly Clarkson, and Pink, who were all also nominated for the same category.
When Swift gave an acceptance speech, West soon rushed into the stage, grabbed the microphone from her hands, and stated that Knowles should have won the prize for the music video of her track "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)". He said, "Yo Taylor. I'm really happy for you. I'm gonna let you finish but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!"
Knowles, who was seen sitting among the audience, was really shocked when West stated the words. As for Swift, she was spotted stunning and speechless on stage. When the rapper left the stage, the audience started to shout at him and began to cheer for Swift.
